This morning in Saida, we witnessed what can happen when Rotary clubs join efforts to respond to the everyday needs of their communities.
Two projects, led by the Rotary Club of Saida with the support of fellow Rotary clubs and partners, were officially inaugurated.
At Dr. Nazih Bizri Public High School, the rehabilitation and maintenance of the sanitary network in Blocks A and B will help provide students with a healthier, more dignified learning environment. The project was funded by Rotary Clubs of Lebanon, AGBU, Rotary Club of Beirut Cadmos and Rotary Club of Saida.
The second project brought support to Amal Association in Saida through the donation of an industrial gas oven, in cooperation with CIP France-Liban.
These may be two very different projects, but both respond to real needs in the community. Better conditions for students, practical support for a local association, and Rotary clubs working together to make both possible.
Both projects were inaugurated under the patronage of District 2452 Governor May Monla Chmaitilly.
This is what Rotary does; listen, cooperate, and get things done.
