For the third consecutive year, we are glad to kickstart our ongoing dental project, in partnership with Rotary Genève International and Rotary clubs/districts in Switzerland, and in collaboration with the Faculty of Dentistry of Saint Joseph University Usj - Fmd in Lebanon.
During our last dental checkups at “Dar Al Yatima” orphanage in Tripoli, our volunteering dentists from USJ, along with our member Dr. Rania Azar, documented the cases of 16 orphans with severe dental issues. These orphans were transported to the faculty of Dentistry at USJ where they received advanced dental treatment.
At the end of the sessions, the orphans were each offered thoughtful gifts & toothbrushes to maintain their healthy dental habits.
We would like to give special thanks to our dedicated Swiss Rotarian partners, especially Hansjoerg Eberle, and Saint Joseph University’s dental team who showed great professionalism and kindness, creating a friendly environment where the children felt comfortable and at ease.
Together, we're spreading smiles and building a healthier future for Lebanon's deprived children.
