On October 12, 2026, the “Give Light to Others” awareness campaign was launched at Princess Basma Teaching Hospital in Irbid, Jordan, as part of the Fighting Blindness in Jordan Project (2025–2027).
Organized by the Friends of the Jordan Eye Bank Association, in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Amman Ammon and in partnership with the Jordan Eye Bank, the campaign aims to raise awareness about corneal diseases, early diagnosis, and the life-changing power of corneal donation.
One donation can change lives!
Through specialized equipment provided by the project, one donated cornea may help restore sight to more than one patient in medically suitable cases, bringing new hope to those awaiting transplantation.
This impactful initiative is supported by the Rotary Club of Heidenheim, Germany, and The Rotary Foundation, demonstrating the power of international Rotary partnerships in creating sustainable change.
Together, we can raise awareness, encourage corneal donation, and help more people see a brighter future.
