On 10 September, the Rotary Club of Nicosia and the Rotary Club of Nicosia-Aspelia came together for a special evening celebrating the success of “Fashion Unites for Good” and, most importantly, the difference this initiative has made.
During the evening, a cheque for €20,000 was proudly presented to Ms Ersi Papayianni, Director of the Archangelos Michael Elderly Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre (AMEN), representing the proceeds raised through the charity fashion show jointly organised by our two Clubs on 3 June 2026.
A particularly meaningful moment for our Club was the recognition of PP Stavriana Antoniou, under whose Presidency Fashion Unites for Good was organised. On behalf of the Rotary Club of Nicosia, President Stephanie Georgiadou presented Stavriana with a special plaque of appreciation, recognising her exceptional dedication, leadership and the tremendous success of this initiative.
Our warmest thanks also go to President Jenny Avraam and DDG Michalis Avraam for graciously hosting approximately 150 guests at their home, and to PDG Kevork Mahdessian, who guided us through the evening’s programme.
The evening concluded beautifully with a special musical performance by Sophia Patsalides, bringing a memorable celebration of service and fellowship to a close.
Congratulations once again to PP Stavriana Antoniou, to our friends at the Rotary Club of Nicosia-Aspelia, and to every person who helped turn Fashion Unites for Good into a tangible contribution to our community.
