RC Athinai, a Founding Member of ELEPAP Foundation (Hellenic Society for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons) , under the auspices of D-2475 and the co- assistant of R.C.Athinai-Notos & R.C. Parnitha, donated a state-of-the-art supercomputer system that will contribute to the provision of high-level services of the pioneering Gait and Movement Analysis Center of ELEPAP.
On Tuesday, December 3rd, at the International Day of Disability, the Handover Ceremony of the project took place, in the presence of DG rtn Nikos Margaropoulos and in the context of the completion of the District Grant 2024-25 that RC Athinai had undertaken. Ms. Maria Pyrgeli, Scientific Director of ELEPAP, Ms. Annie Efstathiou-Maniati, regular member of the Board of Directors of ELEPAP, Mr.
George Krasaris, General Director of ELEPAP, together with the head of the Center, bioengineer Mr. George Grimas, warmly welcomed the DGN rtn Babis Tinginagas, the AG rtn Yianna Apostolakou, the President of RC Athinai rtn Anastasios Ballas and the Treasurer rtn Yiannis Pouspourikas, the President of RC Athinai-Notos rtn Konstantinos Kottikias, the Dean and President of the Action Committee of RC Parnitha rtn Christina Driva, and the RC Athinai member rtn Vassilis Charalambakos.
The supercomputing system will substantially contribute to the extraction of comprehensive assessments and gait analysis findings, aiming that each child reaching their full potential and being integrated smoothly and equally into the society.
