With the Golden Needle Global Grant Project, women are encouraged to participate in economic life and fill the gap of intermediate staff in the textile sector.
The education aspect of the project is organized by the Izmir Municipality of Vocational Factory and the employment is managed by the Aegean Clothing Manufacturers Association.
The target is the graduation of 150 women in 3 training centers and 40% of them getting a job.
The Golden Needle Project will help make dreams come true and create hope in peoples lives.
The Golden Needle Project healed the wounds of the earthquake
Underwear and children's clothes are produced by women who received training within the scope of the project, and will be sent to the victims affected by the earthquake that caused great loss of life and property in southeast Turkey on 06 February 2023.
