MOBILE DENTAL CLINIC SUPPORT FROM ROTARY TO ADIYAMAN
Rotary International District 2440 delivered the Mobile Dental Clinic, which was provided by the Earthquake Fund provided by Rotary International, to Adıyaman Provincial Health Directorate.
In Adıyaman, where the wounds continue to heal after the Kahramanmaraş earthquake on February 6, 2023, Rotary continues its activities with social projects without slowing down. Pointing out that very important projects have been implemented especially in the field of Education and Health, Rotary International District 2440 Governor Ayda Özeren said; We continue to be hope, especially for our brothers from Adıyaman, on this path we started with the slogan of "Be Hope for the World". Since the first day of the earthquake, we have undertaken many projects by using the Rotary Earthquake Fund in Adıyaman and other provinces to share the suffering of our people, to heal their wounds and to meet the social needs of schools, health centers, hospitals and living spaces damaged in the earthquake. All our Rotary clubs across Turkey used all their energies to help the region. We have saved hundreds of families from housing problems in many container cities. We built schools, distributed tents, and our clothing and food aids always continued. Saying health comes first we built a Mobile Dental Clinic in Adıyaman and today delivered it toour Provincial Health Manager Dr.Erdoğan Öz. In the coming days, we will bring and deliver another Mobile Health Center to Adıyaman with the hope that it will serve our people and distribute healing. Our aim is to try to overcome these difficult days by working together. We sincerely thank the Rotary Club of Nemrut from District 2430, which is the sister club of our Rotary Club of Viryant from District 2440 affiliated with the District 2440. If they were not in Adıyaman, we would not know what Adıyaman needs and what it needs. However, they constantly share with us all the problems and needs of this city. We are giving our best support and we will continue to do so.”
