During a recent meeting with His Excellency President Joseph Aoun, Rotary District 2452 Governor May Monla shared the vision, initiatives, and community-driven work being carried out by Rotary Clubs across the region.
From healthcare and education to humanitarian support, Rotary remains focused on projects that address real needs and create lasting benefits.
Among the initiatives discussed was the commitment to improving access to clean and safe water in more than 1000 schools, a powerful step toward healthier children, safer educational environments and more resilient communities.
The meeting also marked an important step toward the Rotary District Conference 2027 taking place in Lebanon on May 6, 7 and 8, 2027, with approximately 1000 Rotarians from nine countries expected to come together.
Beyond the conference itself, this gathering represents an opportunity to showcase Lebanon, strengthen international partnerships, exchange ideas, and celebrate the power of Rotary to bring people together through service.
Because when leaders, communities and volunteers work together, service becomes impact.
One Rotary. One purpose. One commitment to Service Above Self.
