On December 17th, President RC Athinai rtn Anastasios Ballas, Vice President rtn Ioannis Koimtzoglou,and rotarians members of RC Athinai, Ioannis Varotsos, Tassos Panagiotopoulos, Lisa Pentheroudaki, Georgios Roussis, Stavros Triantafyllidis, offered a festive light meal of solidarity to forty of our fellow human beings, salespersons of the magazine "SCHEDIA", the only Greek street magazine and member of the International Network of Street Papers (INSP), which represents 122 street magazines from 41 countries, with 14,000 homeless unemployed salespersons and 6,000,000 readers worldwide.
The RC Athinai Members were welcomed by Mr.Alefantis, journalist and Founder of the magazine and after having meal with the "people in red vests", who come from socially vulnerable population groups (homeless, unemployed and, in general, people living below the poverty line), they listened carefully to their difficult daily lives and bent over their needs. In view of the festive season, let us give the opportunity for social contact and interaction with our vulnerable fellow human beings.
