My Mastic Tree Çeşme" Project is an afforestation project that aims to bring the Mastic Trees, which are on the verge of extinction, back to the soil in Çeşme District and is supported by Çeşme District Governorship, Çeşme Municipality, Çeşme Hoteliers Association, Alaçatı Tourism Association, Çeşme Chamber of Tradesmen and Çeşme Peninsula Environment Association.
With the tree planting ceremony held on December 22, it is planned to plant 20,000 Mastic Trees by the end of 2025 and 100,000 in five years in the green areas belonging to Çeşme Municipality and Gum Afforestation Areas belonging to the National Real Estate Directorate with the donations of volunteers and environmentalists.
Within the scope of this project, which seriously supports women's employment and creates 12 months of employment, an exemplary business model is emerging regarding the "home employment" of our women living in Çeşme for the cleaning of the harvested Gum Mastics.
Within the scope of the "101 Mastic Tree Planting Project in the 101st Year of Our Republic" jointly organized by Rotary International District 2440 , Rotary Club of Terra Madre and Rotary Club of Çeşme, a "Rotary District 2440 Region Introduction Sign" will be placed in the area where the trees will be planted and the names of each donor will be hung on the trees one by one with tree signs.
