Rotary clubs across Lebanon began the 2026–2027 Rotary year with renewed clarity, connection and shared commitment to community impact. On 5 August 2026, the District 2452 General Lebanon Clubs’ Meeting brought Rotarians together at Le Royal Hotel, in the presence of District Governor May Monla Chmaitilly, for an evening dedicated to plans, priorities, friendship and the year ahead.
The meeting created space for clubs to align around the District’s focus for the new Rotary year and to hear more about projects designed to benefit local communities. Several speakers shared information and ideas, helping participants see how club work can contribute to broader district goals and stronger public impact.
Beyond the formal programme, the gathering also reminded participants of one of Rotary’s most valuable strengths: fellowship. Rotary clubs from across Lebanon had the opportunity to meet in one place, reconnect, exchange ideas and enjoy a warm, friendly atmosphere. These moments of personal connection often become the foundation for future cooperation, stronger clubs and more confident action.
The evening also included a joyful celebration of the birthdays of DS Samar Saab and Dr Joseph Rachkidi, adding a personal and human touch to the start of the year.
For Rotary in Lebanon, the meeting was more than an administrative opening. It was a shared beginning — a chance to look ahead, strengthen relationships and prepare for a fruitful year of service, leadership and lasting impact.
