On the occasion of RI's 119th birthday , RC Panorama and RC Alexandroupolis organized the "1st Rotarian Friendship Gastronomy Weekend " on the weekend February 23-25 in Volaka, Drama prefecture. Guided by the two Rotary Clubs (Alexandroupoli and Panorama), emphasis was given on Greek hospitality, through the delicious gastronomy which was accompanied by local wines and spirits. A total of 13 Clubs from Greece and neighboring Bulgaria participated in the event. From RID 2482: RC Sofia, RC Sofia Serdika, RC Sofia International, RC Petrich, RC Gotse Delchev, RC Sandanski, RC Samokov, RC Yambol. From RID 2475: Governor Dimitrtis Bekos with his wife Asha (RC Kifissia-Politeia) and RC Ioannina.
In a warm Rotary atmosphere and with a background of gastronomy, emphasis was placed on Rotary fellowship and friendship between the members of the Clubs.
