At the beginning of February 2026, the Interact Club of Manama (the youth section of Rotary Club of Manama) organized a charity padel tournament with the goal of raising funds to support workers in need in Bahrain. Thanks to the enthusiasm of participants, sponsors, and supporters, the initiative successfully collected funds that were later transformed into meaningful action.

On Friday, May 8th, the young members of the Interact Club of Manama, carried out a food distribution campaign in a workers’ camp located in downtown Manama. Around 60 workers received food boxes filled with essential dry food items.

The Interactors personally carried the boxes upstairs and distributed them hand-to-hand to the workers, creating a genuine moment of connection, gratitude, and humanity. In addition to the food boxes, hygiene and cleaning items were also prepared and packed mainly in reused or paper bags by the Interactors before the event. These items were distributed alongside the food donations to further support the workers’ daily needs.

It was a deeply rewarding Friday for everyone involved, as the smiles and appreciation of the workers reminded the young volunteers that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the community.
