The Bursa Tophane Rotary Club has been organizing iftar dinner programs for university students in Bursa during the holy month of Ramadan, considered sacred for Muslims, since 2012.
Members of the Tophane Rotary Club, who prioritize touching lives, gather at the meal distribution area in the Görükle district of the Nilüfer region throughout the month of Ramadan.
After completing the necessary preparations, the Rotarians get to work to ensure that university students, who are the architects of the future, have access to healthy food.
With this project, the Tophane Rotary Club has been able to reach nearly 150,000 university students over the past 13 years. The understanding of ‘service above self’ is being continued with the aim of this project continuing for many years to come.
