In a magical evening beneath the skies of Zahle, the Rotary Club of Zahle–Bekaa, in collaboration with the Michel Daher Social Foundation, proudly sponsored “By the Light of the Moon,” a beautiful musical performance by the Classical Music Band of the National Education Scouts – Zahle Region, held at the iconic Our Lady of Zahle and Bekaa.
The evening brought together Mayor of Zahle–Maalaka and Taanayel Eng. Selim Ghazaleh, Mrs. Marlene Daher, President of the Michel Daher Social Foundation, and Rotary Club of Zahle–Bekaa President Dr. Badih El Hajj Chahine, alongside current and former MPs and ministers, Rotary leaders, community figures, families, and friends. The event was also broadcast live by Zahle TV and Noursat.
In his remarks, President Dr. Badih El Hajj Chahine highlighted Rotary’s commitment to supporting art, music, and young talent, empowering youth to develop their abilities, express their creativity, and contribute positively to their community. Commander Joseph Mokdassi also emphasized the importance of creating opportunities for young people to grow and showcase their talents.
Led by Commander Mounir Abou Jalad, the young musicians delivered an inspiring performance where music, the beauty of Zahle, and the magic of the moonlit night came together in an unforgettable atmosphere.
Through initiatives like this, the Rotary Club of Zahle–Bekaa continues to support culture, youth, and meaningful community partnerships that Create Lasting Impact.
