The Rotary Presidential Peace Conference was held in London on Friday and Saturday 9th and 10th of February, in the presence of President Gordon McInally, with the participation of 700 delegates from more than 50 countries. In the packed hall of the IMO (International Maritime Organization), the attitudes, institutions and structures that create and maintain peaceful societies were presented. High-level speakers described behaviours that make violence less tolerable when institutions are more sensitive to society's needs and support nonviolent conflict resolutions. Representatives from Zone 21 were present.
