The September 2026 edition of the Zone 21B Public Image Monthly Journal is now available, bringing together stories, reflections and practical ideas from across our region under the theme of knowledge, learning and lasting impact.

This issue opens with powerful leadership messages that remind us why education matters deeply to Rotary. In his Director’s Message, Emmanuel Katongole shares the story of one question that changed the course of his life — a reminder that sometimes lasting impact begins when one Rotarian notices one child. The RPIC Message continues this theme through a personal reflection on mathematics, teachers, confidence, artificial intelligence, friendship and the role of learning in shaping both people and communities.

A major highlight of this issue is the invitation to clubs across Zone 21B to take part in the Rotary Maths Festival, an initiative launched by the Rotary Club of Bourgas together with the Maths High School “Acad. Nikola Obreshkov” – Bourgas, the Municipality of Bourgas and supporting partners. After two successful editions in Bulgaria, the Festival is now taking its next step as an international Rotary initiative, inviting clubs to organise local rounds in their own communities and connect children through the universal language of mathematics.

The September Journal also includes a special focus on Nepal — Rotary Solidarity in Action, combining a personal reflection, Foundation perspective and a call to support disaster response efforts. Readers will also find inspiring stories of Rotaract leadership and giving, new clubs in Zone 21B, the historic recognition of Dr Agron Abrashi as the first Arch Klumph Society member from Albania and Kosovo, and personal essays on the journey from Rotaract to Rotary.

Across the district sections, the issue presents service stories from Districts 2420, 2430, 2440, 2452, 2475, 2482, 2483 and 2485 — highlighting education, inclusion, youth leadership, healthcare, environmental action, humanitarian support and community partnerships.

The issue concludes with practical ideas in the Leader’s Toolbox, designed to help clubs strengthen their communication, public image and member experience.

The September edition is more than a collection of news. It is a reflection of the people, projects and values that make Rotary visible, trusted and relevant across Zone 21B.

Read the September 2026 issue of the Zone 21B Public Image Monthly Journal and discover how knowledge, service and stories continue to create lasting impact.
