In alignment with Rotary’s enduring vision to change lives and foster community resilience, the Rotary E-Club of Greece has officially entered into a powerful new partnership with the non-governmental organization RETO Hellas.

By signing a formal Memorandum of Cooperation, both organizations have committed to a shared journey of social service, solidarity, and sustainable community development.

The joint initiative launched its first wave of action in Heraklion, Crete. For Rotarians, service achieves its ultimate value when it transcends isolated acts of charity to build meaningful partnerships and enduring solutions.
This collaboration directly reflects this year’s global theme: Create Lasting Impact.

RETO Hellas does vital, everyday work on the ground, supporting individuals on the margins of society by offering them human connection, rehabilitation, and a dignified opportunity for a fresh start.
To empower this mission, the Rotary E-Club of Greece coordinated a targeted donation of essential goods to equip their local facilities.

The initial delivery included:

  • Two double mattresses and three single mattresses

  • Three semi-double beds

  • Dozens of educational books and CDs

  • Two coffee makers and various essential household items

Items that might seem commonplace are given a second life through this initiative, transforming into vital resources that provide comfort and stability to individuals seeking a second chance.

True Rotary service does not end with the delivery of material goods; it begins when those resources become the catalyst for personal transformation. The partnership between the Rotary E-Club of Greece and RETO Hellas is designed for longevity and continuity. By combining resources, vision, and action, both organizations are working together to leave a meaningful, lasting social footprint in the community.
