Here is the British English version, with an impact-led opening and ethical, positive Rotary storytelling:

Lasting impact is created when Rotary brings people, institutions, community initiatives and young leaders into the same circle of purpose. It begins with listening, grows through cooperation, and becomes stronger when every visit opens new possibilities for service, partnership and shared responsibility.

With this spirit, District Governor Orhan Uludağ and Zeynep visited the Rotary Club of Karadeniz Ereğli as part of the official club visits.

The programme included a courtesy visit to Fatih Yıldız, District Governor of Karadeniz Ereğli, where the value of dialogue with public institutions was emphasised. The visit then continued with the Elpek Dokuyan Eller Women’s Cooperative, a Rotary Community Corps, and the Karadeniz Ereğli Interact Club. These meetings offered an opportunity to learn more about their ongoing work, recognise their contribution to the community, and exchange views on the goals of the new Rotary year.

In the evening, the club’s Board of Directors meeting and regular club meeting focused on the priorities for 2026–2027 and the service projects planned for the year ahead. The programme also included a new member induction ceremony, marking a meaningful moment of growth and continuity for the club.

Bringing together public institutions, civil society, women’s community enterprise and young people, the visit became more than a formal part of the Rotary calendar. It strengthened the connection between the club and the District, encouraged cooperation across different parts of the community, and helped align the club’s energy with the shared commitment to Create Lasting Impact.
