The Rotary Club of Amman Citadel signed a Memorandum of Understanding this Tuesday with the National Aid Fund (NAF), marking an important step toward supporting families in need with access to essential healthcare.
Through this partnership, the Club will help provide medical support to eligible families benefiting from the Fund, as well as those on its waiting lists who do not have health insurance. The initiative includes support for cataract surgeries for eligible cases, helping restore sight and improve quality of life.
NAF Director General Khitam Salem Al-Shunaikat highlighted that the partnership reflects the Fund’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with civil society and expanding support beyond direct cash assistance through its “Cash Plus” approach.
Rotary Club of Amman Citadel President Wesam Mohammad Al-Rashdan emphasized that the agreement provides a clear and organized framework for identifying eligible cases and ensuring that support reaches those who need it most.
A small step on paper, but one that can make a life-changing difference for a family — and help someone see clearly again.
