The Rotary clubs Athinai-Lycabittos and Kifissia-Politia organized, with great success, a Christmas outing in the center of Athens, on Saturday, December 21st. Our guide rtn Dora Spahi, member of RC Athinai-Lycabittos, with her eloquent speech, took us on a trip to ancient Athens from 2c BC to the present day as we walked and visited the important monuments such as the Acropolis, Hadrian's Library, the Roman Agora and the old Metropolis.
Afterwards we had lunch at the traditional ouzo café "Oraia Hellas"
We would like to thank Rotarian Dora, DGE Stefanos Anastasopoulos, President of RC Heraklion Crete Giorgos Lapidakis, the Rotarian Urlich Dukes from Switzerland, the members of the Clubs and all the friends who participated.
The amount we collected will be used to buy essentials that will be delivered to the Reception & Solidarity Centre of the Municipality of Athens (K.Y.A.D.A.).
