The Association of Volunteer Forest Firefighters of Aphidne (SEAD) has been active in the region of Aphidne since 10 years, counting more than 80 active members. These members, with courage, a spirit of brotherhood and self-sacrifice, volunteer their services not only for the protection of forests but also for the protection of homes and human life itself, performing a multifaceted and global role. Of course, their equipment is based exclusively on the sponsorship of associations, companies and individuals.

Rotary Club of Koropi, wanting to honor these volunteers, with the valuable cooperation of the German Rotary Club of Dieburg-Badenhausen, implemented an offer of 15 uniforms of NOMEX specifications (15 trousers and 15 jackets) and 14 pairs of HAIX firefighting and rescue boots to SEAD (Association of Volunteer Forest Protection Volunteers) at a total cost of 7,200 euros.

The handover took place at the premises of the SEAD in Kapandriti, in the presence of the representative of the German Rotary Club Dieburg-Badenhausen, rtn and PP Dr. Antonios Spanidis and members of the R.O. Koropi.
