RC Kifissia-Kastri held an event on "The value of a guide dog" on November 21st.
Mr. Tsaousis, Former CEO of the Centre for Education and Rehabilitation of Blind persons (KEAT), Instructor for Mobility and Orientation and Juliana Bousi,with Guide Dog #UNIGGD, both volunteers in the Training Program of the Dog Guides of Greece #We_Love_Guide_Dogs.
A short greeting was given by the Vice Mayor of Animal Welfare & President of the Municipality of Kifissia's Floriculture Department, Mrs. Elena Chronopoulou.
Present were also the President of the Cultural and Landscaping Association "Kifissos" Yannis Mitrelis and the Secretary Vasso Avdela.
Also present AG Panos Vombylas and RC Nea Smyrni President Kostas Vazimas. We thank the members and friends of the club who attended this presentation.
The proceeds will be used for the sterilization of stray cats in the Municipality of Kifissia and specialized veterinary examinations of Guide Dogs in contact with the Dogs Guide Center of Greece.
