Members of the "Bulgarian Shield" Association, together with the Gabrovo Rotary Club, D2482, made Vicky's dream come true to be on Mount Shipka. 18-year-old Victoria Predeva from Plovdiv suffers from cerebral palsy.

Upon the group's arrival, thunderous applause rang the glorious peak. Competitors, judges, managers and visitors to the Monument of Liberty gave a standing applause in honor of the 18-year-old girl.

The governor of Gabrovo District, Maria Basheva, congratulated Victoria and emphasized that she can be among the winners of today's competition to climb the stairs to the Freedom Monument. Basheva presented her with a diploma and a puzzle that made up a picture of the top.

Plamen Ilarionov, past president of Rotary Club Gabrovo, surprised Victoria with a cake on the occasion of her birthday, which was on August 16.

The gift of "Siela Norma" was presented by the two-time Paralympic champion Hristiyan Stoyanov, who congratulated Victoria and welcomed all the participants.

Victoria Predeva also attended the history lesson in the multimedia hall of the Shipka-Buzludzha National Park-Museum.
