Children from Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia arrived with different languages, experiences, and traditions, but left with new friendships and a deeper understanding of one another. Through shared adventures, learning, and everyday moments together, they gained confidence, strengthened their communication skills, and discovered that cultural differences can become a source of curiosity, connection, and trust.
This human impact has grown over fourteen years. More than 310 children have now taken part in Tabor Mojca, creating an expanding network of friendships among young people and lasting cooperation between Rotary clubs across the region.
From 3 to 11 July 2026, Rotary Club Zagorje Kum welcomed 21 children to the latest edition of the programme, organised with Rotary Club Brčko, Rotary Club Zrenjanin, and Rotary Club Doboj.
Before reaching the camp in Dolenjske Toplice, the children explored Rogla, walked among the treetops, climbed Mount Kum, and shared experiences that helped them connect naturally.
At the camp, they took part in games, educational activities, and workshops. A bilingual speed-reading session encouraged new ways of learning, while an EndPlasticSoup presentation inspired conversations about environmental responsibility. Working together, the children transformed those ideas into creative posters.
