On December 9th, RC of Kyrenia Liman, RC of Nicosia Sarayönü, RC of Kyrenia St.Hilarion and RC of Kyrenia Cosmopolitan organized the ''Annual Christmas & New Year Dinner'' to celebrate the coming New Year, at the Shell Wii Restaurant. The aim was to raise funds for the Humanitarian Global Grant Project for New Born Babies (GG2568623). The Host Club RC of Barbaros Metropolitan D-2420 and International Partner RC of Nicosia Sarayonu D-2452 will be supplying two Advance Incubators for Newborn babies to Marmara University Hospital.
64 Rotarians from Cyprus Rotary together with some friends of Rotary attended the evening. The event was honored by the attendance of PDG Kevork Mahdessian and his lovely wife Vart, DGE Peter Ashdjian, DDG Demetris Pantazis, PDDG Tastan Altuner, PDDG Caterina Kalavas, PDDG Dincer Cagin, AG Gultac Ozsan, and AG Panicos Nicolaides. Rotarians from RC of Larnaca Kition, RC of Nicosia, RC of Nicosia Lefkothea, RC of Kyrenia and RC of Nicosia Aspelia attended the evening to represent their clubs.Guests enjoyed the culinary delights of the restaurant and spent the night with warm fellowship conversations while mingling.
Two new members from RC of Nicosia Sarayonu, namely Erdal Sarper and Bahar Ersozer and one new member from RC of Kyrenia Liman Club; Hulya Gokoglu were pinned by PDG Kevork Mahdessian, DGE Peter Ashdjian and DDG Demetris Pantazis.
Sale of raffle tickets increased the raised funds and brought joy to the winners of valuable gifts. Overall funds raised was 1,120 USD.
