Organized by the İyi Yaşam Rotary Club with the support of the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and in collaboration with the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV), **Festiwell 2026** was held on May 2nd at the Izmir Alsancak Historical Coal Gas Factory with high attendance. Centered around the theme of "Longevity" (healthy and long life), the festival stood out as a sustainable model that transforms individual well-being awareness into a significant social benefit. As a visionary project of the Rotary District 2440 Wellbeing Thematic Club, the event featured expert physicians, academics, and wellbeing leaders, offering participants the opportunity to experience mind-body-emotional integration through a wide range of panels and workshops.
The most tangible success of the organization was the massive social impact it generated; including volunteer contributions and stakeholder support, a total value of approximately 2 million TL was created, providing a substantial resource for students' educational journeys through the TEV scholarship fund. Throughout the festival, experts emphasized that genetics are not destiny and that correct lifestyle habits and social bonds directly improve the quality of life, delivering the message that well-being is a journey rather than a destination. Showcasing one of the strongest examples of collaboration between volunteerism, local government, and the private sector, Festiwell 2026 established itself as an inspiring social impact story where individual awareness translates into collective goodness.
