Last Friday, 24th of October, 18 of our dedicated Interactors came together to bring their Feed the Workers project to life in collaboration with WeCareBahrain. Together, they distributed 300 complete meals, including water, juice, and fresh salads, to workers in a camp in Buri. As the Interactors knew many workers were lacking basic hygiene items, they also decided to distribute 300 toothbrushes and toothpaste, and they reached out to Peninsula Farms, who generously donated goat milk soaps to complete these hygiene essentials. Adding to the day’s impact, Kim’s Hospital graciously agreed to join the effort, setting up a medical station where workers received free health check-ups and dental vouchers. The Interactors showed remarkable teamwork not only in setting up this project but in making sure it is a true success. It was heartwarming to witness once again how a simple act of care can bring joy to those who need it most.
