RC Marathon – Nea Makri, with a strong sense of social responsibility and as part of its Disease Prevention and Treatment initiatives, organized a Blood Donation Week in November under the inspiring motto: "Be Someone's Hope, Donate Blood."
This initiative not only received great support but also enthusiastic participation from the following
Rotary Clubs in our District:
- Rotary Club of Alexandroupolis,
- Rotary E-Club Greece,
- 2475 District Rotaract Greece,
- Rotary Club of Patras – Kostis Palamas,
- Rotary Club of Volos – Argo, and
- Rotary Club of Athinai – Lycabettus
- 2475 Rotaract District
In collaboration with the aforementioned clubs and with the invaluable support of the District Blood Bank Coordinator, RC Marathon – Nea Makri succeeded in extending the initiative into nearly a month-long blood donation campaign. The results were remarkable: the Blood Bank of RID 2475 was significantly reinforced; now boasting a positive balance of blood units.
This initiative highlights the power of unity and collaboration. Through collective action, we can bring hope and life to those in need. Together, we can—and do—make a difference!
