THE POWER OF GOODNESS HAS BROUGHT US TOGETHER ONCE AGAIN!
Sometimes, a single act of kindness is enough to change someone's world. And when dozens of people from different countries unite their ideas, hearts, and inspiration, something truly beautiful is created – "THE POWER OF GOODNESS."
Six years ago, this inspiring initiative was founded by Past Zone 21B Public Image Coordinator Nijad Al Atassi, with a vision to showcase the countless stories of kindness, compassion, and service that transform communities and inspire people across the world. Today, that vision continues to grow, bringing together Rotarians and Rotaractors from different countries through the universal language of doing good.
Last night, the online Awards Ceremony of the sixth edition of the zonal video contest "THE POWER OF GOODNESS" took place, bringing together more than 80 participants this year. Each and every one of them reminded us that goodness knows no borders, recognises no differences, and remains the most powerful language we all understand.
It was a tremendous honour for us to welcome TRUSTEE Ijeoma Pearl Okoro, PAST ROTARY DIRECTOR Katerina Kotsali-Papadimitrou, ROTARY INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC IMAGE SPECIALIST Nina Hazhala, as well as Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators, Past District Governors, District Governors, and Rotarians from around the world – people who demonstrate every day that SERVICE ABOVE SELF is more than a motto; it is a way of life.
