GÜNES ERTAS
Günes, born in 1964, is PDG of District 2440. He has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Izmir Dokuz Eylul. He owns a company dealing Environmental Technologies since 1994 in Izmir-Turkey. He joined Rotary in 1987 as Rotaractor, became a Rotarian in 1994 at Rotary Club of Izmir-Dokuz Eylul. He served in many positions in District and Zone level such as District Governor, District Rotaract, RYLA and ICC Chairperson, District Secretary, RI Presidents Representative, Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator and Rotary Public Image Coordinator. Leaded a GSE team to District 7600. Participated multiple times to RI Conventions, Institutes and RFE programs. Currently he is serving as District Trainer in his own District 2440. He is active Members of WASH (Water & Sanitation Rotarian Action Group), SRoF (Strategic Planning Rotarians Fellowship) and CADRE (The Rotary Foundation Cadre of Technical Advisers)
Günes is also Board Member in publishing committee of the Regional Turkish Rotary Magazine “Rotary Dergisi”. Married to Figen (1967) since 1989. They have a son (31) and a daughter (27). Günes and Figen Ertas are Major Donors to TRF
