Foteini Papadimou is a Greek Rotary and Rotaract leader whose journey reflects a strong connection between youth leadership, service, peace, public image and the next generation of Rotary.
Based in Thessaloniki, Foteini has been part of the Rotaract community since 2013. Her leadership journey began in the Rotaract Club of Thessaloniki-East, where she served as Club President from 2016 to 2018 and later continued as an adviser, learning facilitator and Foundation and service projects chair. Her experience expanded to district level through roles including District New Generations Chair, District Alumni Chair, District Rotaract Representative, District Rotaract Chair and District Interact Chair.
Her path illustrates how Rotaract and Rotary can form one continuous leadership experience rather than separate stages.
Foteini later became a member of the Rotary Club of Panorama, District 2475, serving in roles related to public image, learning, service projects and club administration before becoming Club President in 2024–25. District 2475 records confirm her leadership of the club and her subsequent service as Assistant Governor in 2025–26.
Her Rotary involvement has also reached beyond Greece. Foteini has contributed to international conversations on peace, empowerment and youth leadership. Rotaract Europe presented her at its Peace Conference as a Rotary and Rotaract leader with extensive district experience and as a Zone 21B Ambassador for a girls’ empowerment initiative.
She is also a Paul Harris Fellow and has consistently supported The Rotary Foundation.
Alongside her Rotary service, Foteini is studying medicine at the Democritus University of Thrace, with particular interests in maternal and child health, disease prevention and healthcare. Her public professional profile also reflects long-standing involvement in youth and international leadership activities.
Across Rotary and Rotaract, Foteini’s story is ultimately about creating space for others to grow — particularly young people and women. Her leadership combines experience with a belief that belonging, encouragement and opportunity can help people discover strengths they may not yet see in themselves.
