Ayşe Mine
is an educator, international interpreter and Rotary leader whose journey through the Rotary family began long before she became a Rotarian herself.

She studied Translation and Interpretation in French, English and Turkish at Bilkent University in Ankara and built a professional career in international communication. For around two decades after graduation, she worked as a freelance written and simultaneous interpreter for multinational companies and non-governmental organisations, including Nike, Pfizer, the United Nations and Rotary International.

Today, Ayşe combines language, education and entrepreneurship. She owns and runs Dream College, a kindergarten providing bilingual English–Turkish preschool education, and DREAMS Education & Consulting, where she works as an international interpreter and education consultant.

Her connection with Rotary began in childhood through her Rotarian parents. Over the years, she experienced the organisation from many different perspectives: first as an Interactor, then as a Rotary Youth Exchange student and RYLA participant, later as a Rotaractor, and since 2015 as a Rotarian.

She is a member of the Rotary Club of Samsun, District 2430, where she served as Club Secretary in 2016–17 and Club President in 2022–23. At district level, she has served as District Executive Secretary, Assistant Governor and District Paul Harris Society Coordinator.

Her Rotary involvement also extends far beyond club and district leadership. Ayşe serves as a member of The Rotary Foundation Cadre of Technical Advisers for 2024–28, bringing professional expertise to Rotary Foundation work. She is also active in international Rotary cooperation through Intercountry Committees and contributes to Rotary Magazine Türkiye as a writer.

The Rotary Foundation has been another important part of her Rotary journey. She is a Benefactor, a Paul Harris Society member and a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, with consistent personal support for the Foundation since joining Rotary.

Ayşe is particularly passionate about projects that create opportunities for children and women. Her professional life in education and her Rotary service naturally meet in this area: helping people learn, grow, connect and discover possibilities they may not have seen before.

Beyond her professional and Rotary responsibilities, she has a deep love of reading and writing and also writes poetry. Travel is another important part of her life — not simply as visiting new places, but as an opportunity to meet people, encounter different cultures and understand the world through other perspectives.

For Ayşe, Rotary is part of a lifelong journey of connection. From Interact and Youth Exchange to Rotaract, club leadership and international Rotary service, her experience reflects one continuous idea: when people learn from one another and build relationships across cultures and generations, service becomes more meaningful and its impact can travel much further.
