Arkan Nihat Apturahman (Arkan)
Arkan Nihat Apturahman holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Accountancy and Control from the University of Economics – Varna, Bulgaria.
He began his professional career in the family accounting practice, where he served as Chief Accountant from 2016 to 2020. Between 2020 and 2023, he worked as an Audit Intern at the Municipality of Momchilgrad, Bulgaria, gaining valuable experience in public sector auditing and financial control. Since 2023, he has returned to the family accounting practice, where he continues to serve as Chief Accountant. His primary professional interests are in accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis.
Arkan's Rotary journey began in 2015 when he joined Rotaract Club Varna Euxinograd. In 2016, he transferred to Rotaract Club Kardjali, where he held several leadership positions. On 15 March 2024, he became a member of Rotary Club Kardjali.
Since 2024, Arkan has been serving as Assistant Public Image Coordinator for Zones 21B, Region 25 supporting public image initiatives and communications across the region.
Throughout his Rotary journey, Arkan has actively contributed to numerous district and regional events as a moderator, speaker and public image facilitator. He has moderated panel discussions and round table conversations, delivered presentations on Rotary public image and storytelling, and supported the organisation of conferences, summits and leadership events across Region 25.
