Born in Ankara in 1964, Orhan Uludağ graduated from TED Ankara College before having a Bachelor of Architecture from the Department of Architecture and a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from the Middle East Technical University (METU). Since 1987, he has been providing architectural design and consultancy services through UMM – Uludağ Architecture & Consultancy, the firm he co-founded with his wife, Prof. Dr. Architect Zeynep Uludağ.
Since 1993, Orhan Uludağ has served intermittently as a part-time lecturer in the Departments of Interior Architecture and Architecture at Bilkent University's Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture. Between 2021 and 2025, he also taught Architectural Design Studio as a part-time faculty member in the Department of Architecture at METU. In addition to his architectural practice, he manages restaurant operations within his family's business, established in 1956.
During his school years, Orhan Uludağ was an accomplished track and field athlete, specializing in the 400-meter hurdles. He won several Turkish national championships and represented Türkiye on both the Junior and Senior National Teams. He is also an active member of various professional and civic organizations.
A member of the Ankara Anıttepe Rotary Club since 2004, Orhan Uludağ has served as Club Secretary, Club Treasurer, and twice as Club President, while also chairing and serving on numerous club committees. At the district level, he has held a variety of leadership positions, including Assistant Governor and District Secretary. Since 2005, he has maintained 100% attendance at club meetings and has participated in numerous national and international Rotary events, contributing to the organization of many of them.
